THE reMITCH
An original member of the Soul Sessions sound system, The reMitch wasn't exposed to eclectic music until he moved to the Los Angeles area in 2001. Frequenting nights like The Root Down, Funky Sole, Afro funke', Bridges and other Los Angeles underground parties, The reMitch was quickly inspired by L.A's music scene when it was at its height. In 2003, he and Baby Bubba formed The Unsinkable Funk Pirates, a group of friends who all shared the same passion for music. The reMitch joined the Soul Sessions Family at its beginning in 2004 and still continues to share his passion for music whenever he's behind the turntables. He has played with and alongside artists such as: DJ Kool Herc, Mix Master Mike, DMC, Common, King Britt, The World Famous Beat Junkies, Peanut Butter Wolf, Wajeed, Tar'aach, Quantic, Red Astaire, Mad Mats, DJ Vadim, DJ Nu-mark, Dam Funk, DJ Faust, DJ Shortee, Nicodemus, DJ Sabo, DJ Neil Armstrong, The Arabian Price, The Egyptian Lover, DJ Rashida, Aloe Blacc, Abstract Rude, Vikter Duplaix, Los Amigos Invisibles, Mark De Clive-Lowe, Breakestra, Connie Price and the Keystones, The Lions, Orgone, J*Davey, J-Boogie's Dubtronic Science, etc.
